LIFE- 3 Ps
Priority, Passion and Purpose together provide 3 Ps for LIFE –
My observation when I got a chance to interleave concepts from a few motivational
self-help Books – Think Like a Monk by Jay Shetty, the 7 Habits of Highly Effective
People by Stephen R Covey, Start with Why by Simon Sinek and Who will cry when
you die by Robin Sharma.
·
Passion with Skill – As per Jay Shetty in his
book “ Think Like a MONK”
o
In the quadrant of potential, how can we do
things which we are good at and we love to do? We need to move our time and energy
for maximum skill and passion synergy.
·
Priority – Habit 3: Put First Things First – By
Stephen R Covey
o
In the quadrant of Priority - How can one focus
on Quadrant 2 - Important, Not Urgent Category –drawn between Urgent / Not Urgent
and Important / Not Important list of items. This is possible only by borrowing
time which will be spent for Not Urgent / Not Important Items.
·
Purpose – Find WHY of your life – Referring to
Simon Sinek and Robin Sharma
o
Start with WHY – By Simon Sinek – A good
inspiration and guidance for one to find WHY of Life. This triggers each person
to start their day.
o
Who will Cry when you Die by Robin Sharma –
explains what one should do in their life if they want to hear the best at
their end of life? This is used as a tool to find quickly WHY of Life among
multiple options.
