  Time management is more about managing our attention and thereby deciding the priority. If we can focus on our planned task, it ensures a good progress. One should analyze reasons for diverting attention and can work accordingly. It could be a few changes in the eco system where we need to work.   Daniel Goleman, who is also the author of the bestselling book “EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE”, describes in this book “ Focus- The Hidden driver of Excellence”, the need for paying attention and different kinds of distractions and their impacts in achieving excellence. This book also touches upon Leadership and how focus helps to become a great leader along with the need for having a big picture for long term humanity success. We often hear about “leadership” and as we grow, one gets curious when I will  become a true leader? Does it mean that am I a follower only now? If so, what is wrong in continuing to be a follower? Or is there a timeline that I need to be a leader at so and so date and time in our lifeline. I had the opportunity to go through a few books written by Robin Sharma and Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam last few weeks and this concept of Leadership and Followership was noticed significantly in their writings.
